| Cecelia Kane
Celebrated fiber and performance artist from Atlanta, Georgia, Cane received
her Masters of Fine Arts from Georgia University and was recently featured
in FiberArts magazine for her solo show, "Heads," at the Sycamore
Palace Gallery in Atlanta. She was a studio artist at the Atlanta Contemporary
Arts Center and The Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap, GA for several years.
Kane recently was hosted by Savannah College of Art and Design as a guest
lecturer in alternative media. She is also the creator of "The Hand-to-Hand
Project" an exhibition shown in Buffalo, New York, Flagstaff, Arizona,

Loren Schwerd
Loren Schwerd is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture at Louisiana State
University. Her sculptures, installations, videos and costumes been exhibited
nationally. Recent exhibitions include: Thresholds: Expressions of Art
and Spirituality, traveling exhibition curated by Eleanor Heartney, Homegrown
Southeast at the Southeastern Contemporary Art Center in Winston-Salem,
NC , Multiplicity, at Spaces Gallery in Cleveland, OH and the Saltine
Biennial at the Mobile Museum of Art in Mobile AL., and the Penland Gallery,
Penland School of Crafts, Penland, NC. Upcoming exhibitions are scheduled
at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, The Dana
Women's Artist Series at Rutgers University, and The Halsey Institute,
in Charleston, SC.Her current project, Mourning Portrait, will be featured
