MISSION:
|
| | |
To creatively transform derelict spaces by utiltizing the talents
of local artists, all while drawing attention to the economic impact on
housing.
Adopted from the successful Houston-based project, Culture Candy is actively
working to secure properties for their own venture into surreal estate
here in Baton Rouge. SurReal Estate director and sculptor Michael Williams
and LSU art graduate student Erika Katayama have been searching for buildings,
facades and public space that can be magically transformed through the
colaborative efforts of local artists.
